She interned in public relations with Prashant Goyal — the New York–based celebrity fashion designer and producer behind International Heritage Fashion Week, a runway platform that has become a distinct presence inside NYFW. Goyal’s houses, from Heritage India Fashions to Prashant Goyal Couture, braid Indian textile, embroidery, and contemporary silhouette for a global stage.
Fashion week is a narrative machine: look, lineage, press, room. Mitchell arrived as a writer who already knew how to build a world and make a character walk. In Goyal’s orbit she practiced the other half of that craft — how a collection is spoken into the culture, how a show is staged as myth, how PR becomes the first draft of legend.
