Member's Biography:
Author, Editor, Writer, & Poet
A gift to Sethelle Mitchell and the late Arthur Mitchell, Jr., LaTrena Mitchell joined this world in 1982, and has been a gift to others since that day. Raised in Marvell, Arkansas, a town in the Mississippi Delta Region, LaTrena attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

There she obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and a Masters of Education in Learning Systems Technology. Mitchell is inspired to write, as she is constantly intrigued at how the joining of words can create very visual and memorable stories. LaTrena enjoys writing poetry as well as stories, an experience that allows her to visualize life through the lenses of her characters' eyes.
